The Agentic Educator: Pedagogical Techniques & Strategies (ICQAWUK Accredited)

Programme Introduction

Welcome to the training programme ‘Seeing Every Child’.

‘Seeing Every Child’ is an internationally accredited professional learning programme consisting of 4 interconnected modules designed to build educator knowledge placing the child at the heart of assessment, pedagogy and curriculum. Educators learn to notice deeply, document meaningfully, respond intentionally and plan responsively, creating learning experiences that reflect each child’s unique voice, interests, strengths, wellbeing and learning. This is Module 3.

MODULE 3: The Authentic Educator- pedagogical techniques and stategies.

This training module guides participants through the core pedagogical techniques and strategies that underpin effective practice in early education. It begins by outlining the key characteristics and skills required to embody the role of an agentic educator, before revisiting the fundamental importance of play as a vehicle for learning, development, and well-being in the early years. The remaining components of the module explore pedagogical strategies across three central themes: Interaction and Relationship Strategies, Environment Strategies, and Practice Strategies. Together, these elements provide a cohesive framework for understanding and applying agentic approaches within early education settings.

Components are as follows:
